The Internet Explorer Bug That Puts A QUARTER Of Web Users At Risk

On Saturday Microsoft announced that it is planning to fix a bug that affects versions 6 to 11 in Internet Explorer, that’s 55% of the PC browser market. However, the fix will only be for versions 9 to 11 which still accounts for just over 26% of the PC browsing market.

Whilst some financial and defensive firms have been hit in the US the big problem is for businesses who still use Windows XP and they will not receive any fixes for the bug. In their adversary Microsfot said that the vulnerability could allow a hacker to take complete control of an infected system. This would allow the hacker to undertake tasks such as deleting data, installing malicious programms and alike.

The simplest method to avoid the bug is to switch your internet browser or as we have been recommending for some time to upgrade your operating system to Windows 7 or 8. If you believe that upgrading to a new operating system, or a new PC is going to be expensive click here to see how affordable our PCs and laptops are on our flexi-lease model. The prices shown include a full 3 years warranty, telephone and remote support and the opportunity to upgrade after just 18 months, whilst keeping the original equipment.
